Premium swimming crab from the clear coastal waters of Zhoushan, quick-frozen immediately after the catch to hold the taste of the ocean. Each crab runs seven to nine taels, with a thin shell packed with plump, firm meat and a sweet, savoury finish. Perfect steamed, stir-fried with rice cakes or braised for family feasts.

Cooking & Usage

Steam cleaned crabs for 12-15 minutes until the shell turns bright orange-red, and serve with a ginger-vinegar dip. For a stir-fry, chop into pieces, sear, then toss with rice cakes and seasonings until fully cooked.

Storage Instructions

Store frozen at -18°C or below. Do not repeatedly freeze and thaw. Thaw in the refrigerator before cooking and use right after defrosting.
